Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.

Great Place! Owner and Manager are good people. I was kept in the loop every step of the way. I took my truck back at 500 mile check and they went through my truck completely again. Clean and welcoming store. Thanks again guys. Hopefully I wonβt have to come back but would greatly recommend this shop to anyone.

A family member highly recommended Rahimβs AAMCO to us to repair our transmission in our F-150 and we are so grateful to him. They charged us much less to rebuild our transmission then other shops quoted us to install a βUsedβ transmission that might or might not work! His manger Kip took excellent care of us and called frequently with updates on the process. There were no surprises when we retrieved our truck and it is running better then ever! Highly recommend Rahimβs AAMCO in Plano!

Trustworthy! Thanks Rahim and Kip for helping me get my F150 rolling again! Kip and Rahim are friendly and communicate with you upfront so that there are no surprises and continue to communicate throughout the repair! Aamco in Plano stand behind their work with confidence which made me feel relieved. My old truck drives like it did when new! Believe me, take your vehicle here for repair - you will not be disappointed.

Just because I drive a LUXURY car, doesnβt mean I want to pay LUXURY prices! I have a 2016 BMW X5 that was towed to BMW on 3/12/26. BMW told me I needed a new transmission, and it would cost $17,000 from Germany. No shade to BMW the transmission was $10k it was the LABOR. So, I called LKQ got a quote for a used transmission which was alot more affordable. I had read the google reviews for Aamco, and I liked what I read. I was specifically trying to see if they had handled any foreign cars like mine. I read about a Cadillac, and an infinity, everything I read was great. My car was towed from BMW to Aamco on 3/16/26 and they had it until 4/14/26. I had talked to KIp over the phone before meeting him in person. When I met him in person he was very nice and professional. He suggested I talk to my lien holder in order to get my car fixed. There was a delay with the paper-work from my lien holder, and nothing to do with Aamco. They wanted to make sure they were going to get paid before any work got started. BMW provided me with the video of all the damage to my car, and the part numbers that I would need. Kip kept me informed of what was going on with my vehicle by text or phone call. I

Stay away from this shop. Why? Maybe it is because they took 7+ weeks to fix it. Maybe it is because I had to call after a month to find out they are sitting on their thumbs looking for a part(which I ended up providing). Maybe it is because they are irate every time you ask them a question- like for a quote on week 3. Maybe it is because they deny the bolt and shields missing after they worked on it were not their problem. Maybe because they leave the shredded paper floor mat and grease stains on the carpet and door and grease\oil everywhere under the hood all over the transmission when they give the car back to you. Maybe because it purred like a cat when you gave it to them(just wouldn't shift) but you get it back with 3 check engine codes requiring replacing multiple parts- all on the engine next to the transmission. Maybe because corporate tells me I am SOL and won't help me, or my favorite- it doesn't shift right and lunges fwd and back the second they give the car back to you and tell you it is not a trans problem. I have called and revisited multiple times and the shop denies anything is wrong all the way to the end of the useless warranty. Pick one. It's not a job well
